Hinoki

Hinoki wood has been used to construct many holy temples in Japan, including the Horyuji Temple and Osaka Castle. Hinoki wood is resistant to decay and carries a symbolic symbol of being immortal.

Hinoki essential oil is distilled from sustainably harvested culled wood using the leaves and bark of the Hinoki cypress tree which is native to central Japan. The spicy, lemon scent of Hinoki essential oil is calming, centering, and grounding. In Japan this oil is valued for relaxation. It may help to release agitation to the mind and body. It promotes peace and reduces agitation, hyperactivity, tension, and stress.

Hinoki is all about opening the mind to opportunities. The more worry and stress we have in our life, the more we limit our opportunities. To attract more opportunities, we must be relaxed and allow the universe to bring them to us. You can use this oil with Sacred Frankincense, White Angelica, Vetiver, or 3 Wise men to help release negativity and open to that which you want to manifest.

Hinoki essential oil contains "tau-muurolene," is a powerful antifungal compound. It can be used to help eliminate odors, promote hair growth when caused by aging, and stimulates/supports digestion. It may also be beneficial for respiratory conditions such as colds and coughs. It is also often used as an antiseptic to help clean and aid in tissue healing for abrasions, cuts, etc. Hinoki may also be an effective insect repellant.
